As part of the consideration of a new grass cutting contract the Parish Council will be reviewing the verge wilding project that has been in place for the last 3-years.

If you have any comments to make on the areas that are still included in the project (listed below), please email the Council. The Council is keen to hear from everybody whatever their views on the project are. Residents are also very welcome to attend the 5 November meeting to give their views to the Council in person.

  • Crooked Corner (on the left beside the church wall just behind 15 The Green)
  • Goddards play area (near the fence line with 18 The Green)
  • Lottage Rd/Oxford St (highway verge triangle)
  • Glebe Close (left hand visibility splay – opposite side to the bench)
  • Kandahar (one on each visibility splay at the entrance on Lottage Rd)
  • Whitley playing field (either end in the ‘longer grass’ areas)
