Castle Street – work on the thatch of Half Moon Cottage

The scaffolding is now going up roadside of Half Moon Cottage on Castle Street and, at the present moment the Council have no plans to close the road although wider vehicles may need to take a diversion.

This decision is due to the scaffolder and thatcher working closely together to keep the working platform to the absolute minimum required by health and safety regulations.

Fingers crossed this remains the case.
