Notice of the closure of Crooked Corner (part) for two days from Monday 27 November for patching works.
The Parish Council and Wiltshire Council are aware that further down this track is also in desperate need of resurfacing, however at this point the route is a byway and not a road. The means it comes under the Public Rights of Way department (who have a minuscule budget compared to highways), and also requires a different approach to repairs than those required for a road. The ProW department are looking in to what measures they can take on this section, but it is unlikely to be a speedy fix.
