The multiplay unit (Orchard Mammoth) in the Goddards Play area is out of action due to rot in the wooden supports. The Council is researching the costs of:
a) Removing the unit (possibly to be replaced with something else)
b) Replacing all the wooden supports with new ones.

The Council hopes to have details for both options for consideration at their July meeting.

The unit is currently unsafe to use, and fencing and notices have been erected to advise this/prevent use. No liability will be accepted for anyone who ignores these notices and continues to use the unit.
