Volunteers recently worked to clear the winterbourne/bourne/brook of weed and plant material. This is important work as it helps keep water flowing during the winter.
Every volunteer undertaking this, and many other tasks across the village, saves the Council (and all residents) the expenditure of contracting out the valuable work they do. The Parish Council are extremely grateful to everyone who helped undertake this work and to all the others who volunteer their time.

During the winterbourne works, a large wheelbarrow got accidently swapped with a smaller one. If you have the bigger wheelbarrow, please let us know.
