Update on the Oxford Street Drainage Improvement Works

“Please be advised that our contractors are demobilising from site today following completion of the drainage improvement works.

The works have included the installation of approximately 80 metres of new drainage and a new highway gully to improve the management of surface water in the area.

The road closure will be removed after 4pm today (08/10), and the road will be fully reopened to traffic later this afternoon.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation while these works were carried out. “

The resurfacing of Oxford Street is still programmed in for the end of October during the schools half term break. However, please be aware that weather conditions at that time may impact the works and cause delays.
