A new initiative called Wiltshire Marque has been introduced by Wiltshire Council. This is an accreditation scheme that highlights and celebrates the provenance of food and drink made in Wiltshire and is funded by the Wiltshire Towns programme. It promotes Wiltshire suppliers and supports the local economy and environment. The scheme is for growers, processors, provisions retailers and hospitality who use locally Wiltshire sourced ingredients for their products.
